Bullet points
I would love if bullet point features were cleaned up. I am torn because goodnotes does not have sub bullet points and notes look VERY messy in this app.
I would hands down use this app if this was corrected.

Ruler
It's wonderful that there's now a ruler in GoodNotes. For math classes, it would be great if the grid paper aligned with it had a box width of 0.5 cm, and users wouldn't have to create this paper background themselves.

Latex editor in Type mode
I would like it to be possible in the typing mode to write in Latex language so that I can format the text better and include my equations without having to convert them with the special tool (which in my case often fails

Manual notebook/folder sorting
One of the biggest drawbacks of the app is that my notebooks and folders are only able to be sorted alphabetically, by type, or by when I used them. This makes for a very unintuitive interface, as the order of documents often makes no sense. I think it would be relatively easy to add the option to just drag and drop folders/notebooks the way you would move apps on a home screen.

Split, name and export Audio Recordings
As of today we have Audio Recordings in GoodNotes - thank you!
You can simply forget to switch off recording, ending up with a long audio recording between lectures or meetings - it would be nice to have a functionality to split an individual audio recording in 2. Therefore it will be possible to delete needless ones.
Custom naming of audio recordings will make it easier to navigate between them.
Exporting audio recordings within a single notebook in bulk and individually as .mp3 file would be very convenient as well.

Pen stability, streamline, pen smoothing or whatever.
I know it's been asked a few times but none recently (from what I have seen). I think it would be the best addition for people like me who write in cursive so that our handwriting is simplified (because I put so much pressure on the pen to write neatly). Procreate has this option and it's so helpful !

Right to left typing in windows
Typing right to left is one of the more important features that needs to be added, all of Hebrew and Arabic writers just can’t type in the app because of this issue.

Laser Tool
Laser pen .....
Doing rough Work with laser pen on document is good as a part of learning process
But the only drawback is it gets vanished too soon i suggest Good notes team to atleast increase its disappearing time to 5- 6 seconds instead of existing 1-2 second when apple pencil is lifted up from screen :)2 votes -

Latex editing to the Math Conversion tool
I have some feedback and features that I would like to see added to the current (experimental) math conversion tool. Currently when you convert handwritten math to typed text it sometimes doesn't include all the math, or read some of it wrong, so I tried editing the latex text that can be seen at the bottom right other converting, but I am unable to edit it. Therefore, it would be useful to be able to edit the typed math right after conversion to be able to rectify some errors in the Al's interpretation and/or simply add things.

Separate Tools for Pen and Fingers
Having separate tools active for finger actions and pen actions would save on manual tool switching, thus saving time and unnecessary effort. In my personal case I’d like to able to have a separate tool for my Apple Pen (Pen tool for note taking), then instantly being able to highlight a line just by using my finger, without the effort of manually switching tools. Furthermore, using the finger to select and drag, or place a sticker or image. Scrolling
Ability to scroll differently for separate documents! I would love to be able to scroll vertically/ horizontally for different documents. Some documents I prefer vertically and some horizontally, but it's a hassle to have to change the direction everytime.

Two pages spread mode
I wannna read two pages as spread. It's not about split view, some files are made as two pages spread and it is terrible to read such files in split view, scrolling both ends of iPad over and over again. So please consider this feature to be implemented.

Study set tags
I’d like for there to be a way to “tag” cards within individual study sets a variety of colors. For example, if I have cards related to biology, I can tag them “green” and cards related to math can be “red”. When I go to study all of my cards, I want to be able to customize how many of each “tag” I want in my study session. Convert Math
Add a button in the Bar at the top, similar to the pen layout. There is tons of empty space and the only button gives a short explanation on how to use it. There could easily be a button to convert to text, math, copy, paste, etc. Instead you have to click through the menu that pops up by holding with your finger, requiring you to drop the pen etc. This would improve workflow and is an easy implementation. Seems like forgoten feature.

More Beautiful and Functional PDFs
I would love if there was an option, when importing a PDF, to import it with a standardized and beautiful style, with text formatting, spacing, etc., sort of like Omnivore or Kindle. It would make reading PDFs on GoodNotes so much nicer of an experience. You could go even further and have options to increase text, change the color background, etc., like you can on the Kindle app.
