Fix iCloud Sync
Fixing slow or never ending iCloud Upload. Just a few notes from me get synced to other devices. The most notes are never synced and just get tagged with the Upload arrow.
we are very sorry about the ongoing issues with iCloud. We are already working on a new version that will offer a permanent solution because we don’t want to rely solely on iCloud anymore. We are making very good progress with the development, but it takes some time because we’re rewriting our entire code and are adding further major improvements to the app. In the meantime, we would suggest to use an automatic backup to another cloud storage of your choice to keep your files safe.

Oh no ! I m buying today Osx and iOs and not sync very disapointed. Put the possibility to store in folder dropbox at least.

i had this issue with my iPad - but used the workaround to fix it. however, now i have the issue with my mac -- and there is no workaround article for the mac system for when the up arrow never going away. can someone please let me know how to workaround this issue for the mac?

please add sync over webdav and dropbox
icloud is so far a no go
This is HUGE and extremly bad problem!! I almost give up to use Goodnote.

yep as all the other content issues with syncing my iPad pro to my other devices. Very annoying. will keep taking backup and remove iCloud and then restore again. rather annoying.
if it is helpful - only iPad pro is not working - Mac iPad and Fon are just fine

I'm extremely frustrated with this. I've tried all the workarounds, and I still get notebooks that never sync properly. There should be a way to force a sync and see a status, but there's not. I never had an issue until the last month or so with this but I'll be checking out other apps now since this is now a problem. I have a notebook of PDF papers for my class that I've highlighted, and I can't get it on my Mac. This is the only app that I use iCloud with that has this problem.
I have lost load of work over this, its doing my head in, today i spent £9.99 on notability as i rely so much on digital notepads, i have give up on this fix. Notability is not as good i must admit, but the syncing is flawless. I really hope they sort this soon.

What I don't understand is why Apps like Bear, Notability, and many others don't have problems with iCloud syncing as much as GoodNotes. I use Notability all day everyday and never experience syncing problems. I am constantly switching between two iPads and a Mac.

Any updates as to the status of the fix? e.g. finished dev waiting on qa that sort of thing.

I am also finding HUGE issues with the syncing. Trying to re-sync the file and now I have multiple duplicates, diving me nuts!
I really need to know when this is likely to be fixed - it just cost me several hours of work. Without the syncing this is really immensely frustrating. Please can someone respond.

Love GoodNotes. It's a brilliant app. iCloud syncing is breaking for me almost every time I use it. Could we have an ETA on the fix? If it's a few weeks, I'll persevere but if it's Q4 2017 I will have to, very sadly, bail.
This is getting ridiculous - probably the best note taking app crippled by poor coding for iCloud

I would also appreciate an ETA. This inability to see my notes on my phone is a real deal breaker.
I also have these syncing issues. Now my iPad and iPhone are completely out of sync and I don't know how to sync them correctly. Ideally I would like to reset everything and import a backup on both devices, but this just creates a lot of duplicates. The syncing is the only issue with this otherwise fantastic app, but it's been several months like this, and I don't know how much longer I can hold.
